Yasir Sacranie

Yasir is a Specialist Infectious Diseases/HIV Pharmacist at Nottingham University Hospitals and a Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice at De Montfort University. He is also the director of MicroPharm, MicroPharm is an online platform designed to provide high-quality medical education for trainee pharmacists and healthcare professionals. MicroPharm has delivered teaching sessions to over 2,000 trainee pharmacists. These sessions were covered in line with the GPhC assessment framework and proved to be very beneficial for the attendees. Yasir trained as a pre-registration pharmacist in a community pharmacy and transitioned to a hospital pharmacy role as a cardiorespiratory admissions’ junior pharmacist. He was subsequently promoted to an on-call junior pharmacist role and rotated through several specialities including respiratory medicine, specialist surgery, geriatric medicine, general medicine and oncology.
