Carmel Hinds

Carmel creates content on MicroPharm relating to life as a foundation year trainee. After graduating with first-class honours in her MPharm she is currently completing her foundation training year (FTY) with Medicare Pharmacy Group in Belfast. As a content writer, Carmel uses her 4 years of experience in community pharmacy alongside her understanding of university and the FTY to create valuable articles for other foundation trainees and students.

With a strong passion for business, Carmel won the award for Best Pitch for her sustainable business idea in Innovate Her, the entrepreneurship course run by women, for women at Queen’s University Belfast. She now aspires to combine her passions for pharmacy, business, and communications as she moves forward in her career.
