Anisha Patel

Anisha Patel is currently a Paediatric Pharmacist at Evelina London Childrens' Hospital with special interest in Paediatric Palliative Care and a Senior Lecturer with the Clinically Enhanced Pharmacist Independent Prescriber Team at King's College London (KCL). She started her pharmacy career by completing a 3-year residency at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Soon after finishing this role, she moved to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to gain international experience in Pharmacy. She worked in Emergency Services which included a role as the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Pharmacist as well as a hospital pharmacist role with Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

After returning to the UK and starting her role with KCL, she was surprised by the number of pharmacy students who were unaware of the variety of roles in the pharmacy profession and wanted to close that gap in knowledge. She became the Founder and Host of the Pharmacist Diaries Podcast, an online platform that showcases the pharmacy profession on a global scale. The goal of the podcast is to dive deeper into the lives of pharmacists, revealing their journeys and inspiring people to chase their dreams.
